Hershey's S'more Belltower

PriceWeber Kicks off 50th Anniversary With A Nod to Its “Sweetest” Client

Louisville, Ky. — One of Louisville’s largest advertising agencies is celebrating 50 years in business. PriceWeber kicked off its anniversary celebrations today by transforming a bell tower at its Shelbyville Road offices into a public art installation depicting the classic ingredients of a giant Hershey’s s’more. The move is a nod to its long-standing client relationship with The Hershey Company, and comes just one week ahead of National S’mores Day on Friday, August 10.

“For 50 years, PriceWeber has focused on creating great work and providing outstanding service to our clients. That approach has allowed us to grow and expand our services to become the full-service agency we are today,” said Fred Davis, PriceWeber’s chief executive officer. “The s’mores art installation at our offices is just one of several ways we are honoring our clients, celebrating our employees, and supporting our community over the next several months.”

On National S’mores Day, PriceWeber employees will host a cookout complete with the classic campfire dessert for children at The Cabbage Patch, a community center for at-risk youth. During the cookout, PriceWeber “chefs” will teach their guests the art of the Hershey’s s’mores “smoosh” – the move that perfectly melts the chocolate between warm marshmallows and toasted graham crackers.

“Over the last year, our team has collaborated with The Cabbage Patch as a pro bono client to improve its digital presence through a website refresh. We can’t think of a ‘sweeter’ way to support one of our nonprofit partners and continue to help them share their mission with the community,” Davis said.

But the celebration isn’t limited to children of The Cabbage Patch.

Said Davis: “S’mores are an iconic summertime treat, and we hope the new art on our bell tower will remind the Louisville community to share the happiness of Hershey’s with their families, friends and neighbors.”
