PriceWeber Named Best in Show During PRSA Landmarks of Excellence Awards

During this year’s PRSA Bluegrass Landmarks of Excellence Awards, PriceWeber was proud to be named Best in Show for the evening and receive 33 awards overall.

PriceWeber was awarded for work we did for the following clients in 2019: Amplify Snack Brands, Blessings in a Backpack, Capital Now Funding, Centra Credit Union, Charah Solutions, CHI Saint Joseph Health, Churchill Downs, Cummins, Early Times (Brown-Forman), Eclipse Bank, Louisville Entrepreneurship Acceleration Partnership, Louisville Metro Police Foundation, Meritor, Old Forester (Brown-Forman), Specialists in Pain Care, Susan G. Komen Kentucky, The Center for Women and Families, The Hershey Company, The Louisville Zoo, as well as campaigns executed for our own PriceWeber social media pages.

We were named Best in Show for our Early Times All-American Dogs Campaign, a social media campaign that turned consumers’ dogs into the stars of a national ad campaign. Our team helped execute a national social media contest for Early Times, and once it concluded, helped narrow down the thousands of entries to select winning dogs and developed a targeted media plan with social ads in each market to boost the featured content. The winners of the contest received a whisky barrel doghouse, a feature in a 2020 All-American Dogs calendar and a billboard in their hometown featuring their dog, resulting in earned media for the campaign. PriceWeber also established a partnership between Early Times and K9s For Warriors, an organization that trains rescue dogs to become service dogs for veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder.

The Landmarks of Excellence Awards celebrates the most creative and successful people, programs, and projects happening in today’s PR, marketing, and media industries.

In addition, Catherine Leigh, Senior PR/Social Media Specialist, was named a 2020 Rising Star, which honors the next generation of professionals in public relations and communications. Our team was proud to support Catherine as she received this well-deserved honor.
