PriceWeber, a digital-forward, full-service marketing, public relations and advertising agency headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, recently received 28 awards from the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) Bluegrass Chapter during its annual Landmarks of Excellence Awards, which recognizes the very best professional communications across the Greater Louisville area. The event was held on Thursday, Oct. 13, at Vernon Lanes, bringing together nearly 120 Kentucky communications, public relations, marketing, creative and media professionals.

Since 1982, the awards ceremony has recognized and celebrated the most creative and successful people, programs and projects happening in today’s PR, marketing and media industries. This year, PriceWeber received five Awards of Excellence – the highest honor – as well as 12 Awards of Merit and 11 Honorable Mentions.

“We are very proud of these award-winning local and national campaigns we’ve implemented on behalf of our clients,” said Fred Davis, CEO of PriceWeber. “Most importantly, the Landmarks of Excellence Awards are based on attaining measurable results, which is what our clients really care about.”

PriceWeber was recognized for work performed for the following clients from July 2021 to June 2022: Blessings in a Backpack, Cabbage Patch Settlement House, Centra Credit Union, CHI Saint Joseph Health, Flavorman, Grote Industries, Homemade Ice Cream & Bakery Cafe´, Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen, Kentucky Derby, Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates, KFC, KORBEL, Louisville Zoo, Render Capital, Saltwater Woody, The Center for Women and Families, The Hershey Company and Waverly Hills.

Among awards recognizing individuals, PriceWeber Senior PR/Social Media Specialist Lauren Guess was named a 2022 Rising Star. This award honors the next generation of professionals in public relations and communications. Nominees for this award must excel in the communications field and show great promise in shaping the future of the industry. Honorees must be 32 years of age or younger and work in the field of public relations or communications.

Guess was selected for being “a go-getter who goes above and beyond for her clients” and someone who is described as having “a true passion and love for this industry, evident in the work she does daily for clients, both nationally and locally.” On any given day at PriceWeber, Guess works with more than a dozen clients from a wide variety of industries, including Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates, Flavorman, Blessings in a Backpack Louisville Chapter, Buffalo Construction, Hughes & Coleman Injury Lawyers, and CHI Saint Joseph Health, among others.
