PriceWeber Receives 32 Awards During PRSA Bluegrass Landmarks of Excellence Awards
PriceWeber recently received 32 awards from the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) Bluegrass Chapter during its annual Landmarks of Excellence Awards, which recognizes the very best professional communications across the Greater Louisville area.
The event was held on Thursday, Oct. 12, at The Refinery in Jeffersonville, Indiana, bringing together nearly 140 Kentucky and Indiana communications, public relations, marketing, creative and media professionals.
Since 1982, the awards ceremony has recognized and celebrated the most creative and successful people, programs and projects in today’s PR, marketing and media industries. This year, PriceWeber received 12 Awards of Excellence – the highest honor – as well as 14 Awards of Merit and six Honorable Mentions.
“From local to national campaigns, we had a lot of exciting work to be proud of in 2022-2023, and it was great to see our team honored with nearly three dozen awards,” said Fred Davis, CEO of PriceWeber. “These are based on measurable results, so not only is the work strong, but the results are showing a true impact for our clients. We are thrilled to be honored for so many client projects.”
PriceWeber was recognized for work performed for the following clients from July 2022 to June 2023: Access Ventures, AHF Products, Blessings in a Backpack, Bloodhorse Magazine, Canopy, Centra Credit Union, Cummins, Donate Life KY, Food & Dining Magazine, Ford Trucks/American Quarter Horse Association, Grote Industries, Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen, Kentucky Association of Sexual Assault Programs, Louisville Water Company, Louisville Zoo, The Hershey Company, Unbridled Eve Foundation, and Varchas Whiskey.
Among awards recognizing individuals, PriceWeber PR/Social Media Specialist Carly Curry was named a 2023 Rising Star. This award honors the next generation of professionals in public relations and communications. Nominees for this award must excel in the communications field and show great promise in shaping the future of the industry. Honorees must be 32 or younger and work in public relations or communications.
Curry was selected for her dedication, passion and willingness to learn new skills. She graduated from the University of Louisville in 2019 and joined the PriceWeber team in 2021, where she assists national and local organizations with earned media efforts. She enjoys working with nonprofit organizations and, earlier this year, helped a statewide nonprofit with a creative campaign that resulted in an increase in potential donors joining the organ donor registry.
