Wild Eggs Engages Egg‑ucators
Challenge
Like many restaurants, our client Wild Eggs, a growing breakfast, brunch and lunch chain, in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio needed to build affinity and top of mind awareness to drive store traffic going into the key summer selling season.
Solution
To help them accomplish these goals, we created “Treat Your Teach,” a Teacher Appreciation Week campaign in each market, that included:
- A teacher Wild Eggs swag gift basket giveaway loaded with Wild Eggs gifts, a $100 restaurant gift card and for school supplies a $100 Amazon gift card.
- Wild Eggs “muffin drop” school visits to thank teachers and staff with delicious muffins
Teachers were nominated during Teacher Appreciation Week on Wild Eggs’ Facebook and Instagram channels. To enter, participants had to like the post and tag a teacher in the post’s comments, stating why they were “eggs-traordinary.”
To support the program, PriceWeber drafted and distributed an individualized press releases in each market, secured earned media interviews for Wild Eggs and developed a social media to promote the contest.
Results
The campaign delivered exceptional results, generating widespread visibility and engagement across multiple channels. It reached over 200,000 viewers through earned media on TV, while garnering more than 1 million online views. The campaign sparked significant conversations on social media, with 30,000 earned media mentions driving organic buzz. Additionally, it secured 62 earned media hits, further amplifying the campaign’s message and solidifying its impact.
