Richard Johnson named Chief Creative Officer
PriceWeber announced Richard Johnson’s promotion to Vice President and Chief Creative Officer. Johnson assumed the position held previously by Tony Beard. Beard recently retired after 30 years of service to the agency.
Johnson joined PriceWeber in 1992 as an assistant art director. He quickly advanced as an agency leader while earning the respect of his clients and peers. In 2007, he was appointed to PriceWeber’s Board of Directors as the first new board member in fifteen years.
Johnson’s portfolio includes work for The Hershey Company, Cummins, BrightSpring Health, Meritor, Louisville Ballet, Hilliard Lyons, and Nature’s Bounty.
Johnson specializes in advertising, trade marketing, travel retail, and promotional marketing.
“We have a growing team of talented professionals who are committed to creating outstanding work,” Johnson said. “I’m excited to collaborate with our creative team, embrace new and emerging trends, and elevate PriceWeber’s image as a great agency.”
Johnson graduated with honors from the University of Western Kentucky. He serves on the board of the Waterfront Botanical Gardens.
